In effect from 15 September 2026
This is what you agree to when you sign a form electronically. It is shown to you each time before you sign, and you can print or save this page to keep it.
By ticking the box beside your signature, you agree to sign electronically and to receive the records of what you are sending electronically. The name you type is your signature, and it has the same effect as signing by hand.
Your agreement covers the one submission you are signing. You will be asked again the next time you are asked to sign anything.
You do not have to sign electronically. To sign on paper instead, or to get a paper copy of anything you have signed, contact your firm using the contact details in the message they sent you. A paper copy is free.
You can withdraw your agreement at any time before you send, by not sending and telling your firm using the contact details in the message they sent you. There is no charge for withdrawing. It does not undo anything you have already signed and sent, but you may then be asked to sign on paper, which can take longer.
After you sign, you are sent a link to your own copy of the record of your signing: what you signed, and when and how you signed it. It opens once you enter a new code, and you can save or print it.
Your code, and the confirmation that you signed, go to the email address or mobile number your firm has for you. To change it, contact your firm using the contact details in the message they sent you.
To sign and keep your records electronically, you need:
If this list changes in a way that could stop you opening or keeping your records, you will be told before it happens, and you can withdraw your agreement without charge.
Reading this on the device you are signing on, and receiving a code at the address your records go to, shows that you can open the records you are agreeing to receive.
This is the disclosure dated 2026-09-13.
