These terms cover the text messages Cartenda sends to clients of the firms that use it. If a firm you work with asked you, or asked on your behalf, to be reached by text, this is what you agreed to.
What it is. Text messages about the requests a firm sends you through Cartenda: a link to a form they asked you to fill in, reminders while it is outstanding, a note when they reply about something you sent or send you files, and the one-time codes you sign or open files with.
Who sends them. The firm that asked you, through Cartenda, which is run by Overlook Innovations, LLC. Every message names the firm it came from.
How often. Message frequency varies with what the firm asks for. A request sends at most 3 reminders. You are never sent marketing.
What it costs. Nothing from us or the firm. Message and data rates from your own mobile carrier may apply.
The first text from a firm asks you to reply YES. Nothing else is texted to you until you do, and anything the firm sends meanwhile comes by email. The one exception is the firm's answer to a text you send them, which comes back by text. If you never reply, that first message is the only text you get unless you write to the firm. This makes sure texts go only to a mobile number that is really yours.
Reply HELP to any message for help, or email hello@cartenda.com.
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. We send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after it. CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE and OPT OUT work the same way. The firm can see that you asked, and cannot switch texts back on for you.
Reply START to begin again.
You can also turn texts off by choosing email on a form the firm sends you, or by asking the firm.
Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any service, and nothing a firm asks of you requires it. Without texts, the same messages come by email.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A message that cannot be texted is sent by email where the firm has an address for you.
No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Your number goes to the network that carries the message and nowhere else. What else happens to what you send a firm is in the notice written for you.
