Connecting Wealthbox, and what moves between it and Cartenda.
Connecting your CRM puts what happens in Cartenda on your clients' records there, so your team can see what was asked and what came back without switching tools. Cartenda connects to Wealthbox.
The CRM connection isn't open to new firms yet. If you're an owner or admin and don't see CRM in your settings, it isn't available to your workspace. If you'd like to use it, write to hello@cartenda.com.
Cartenda writes short notes and tasks on the client's record in Wealthbox:
Documents themselves are never sent. What a client sent stays in Cartenda, and the note links back to it. The link opens your firm's own page in Cartenda, never the client's form link.
Information also flows the other way, but only when you ask:
Nothing from the CRM changes a client's profile until you accept it. A detail that came from the CRM is never written back to it.
Cartenda checks the token right away. The badge beside Wealthbox shows the connection's status: Connected, Not checked yet, Not answering or Disconnected. If something goes wrong, the error is shown on the page.
Under What has been sent, the CRM page lists recent notes and tasks, what each was about and when it went. If one couldn't be delivered, the reason appears in place of the time. This list is how you tell a working connection from a quiet week.
If your token is revoked or expires, the status changes to Not answering. Create a new token in Wealthbox, paste it into Replace the access token, and click Replace and check.
To stop, click Disconnect and confirm. Nothing further is sent. Whatever was already written stays in Wealthbox.
Connecting, replacing and disconnecting are for people who can change workspace settings, which by default means owners and admins. Once connected, notes and tasks are written for everyone's clients, whoever sent the request.
Still stuck? Write to hello@cartenda.com and a person will answer.
